This year’s Miss World crown went to Jamaican beauty Toni-Ann Singh. Born in St Thomas, Jamaica, the 23 years old teen wishes to study medical science for her aim to be a doctor.
At the final ceremony of 2019 Miss World competition held in London, Toni-Ann Singh defeated her last two rivals from France and India. The Jamaican teen impressed the judges and audience by singing Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing. She also won admiration for her smart answers to judges’ queries.
Last year’s Miss World Vanessa Ponce of Mexico crowned her successor Toni-Ann Singh. First runner up Ophely Mezino from France and second Suman Rao from India cheered up the new Miss World.
Toni-Ann Singh later spread some inspirational words through her twitter. She called all the girls worldwide like her to keep faith in their dreams.

Toni-Ann had to left behind 110 more contestants from countries around the globe to win the 2019 Miss World competition. She became the fourth Jamaican in history to be crowned as Miss World.
By Toni-Ann’s Miss World contest winning, a unique record has been established in the history of beauty competitions. Like Toni-Ann, all the winners of this year’s Miss Universe, Miss USA, Miss Teen USA and Miss America are happened to be black ladies.
