Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, son of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, is marking his first birthday today. On the ocation, his mother has posted a warm and sweet video on Instagram.
There the Duchess in seen reading an illustrated story book named ‘Duck! Rabbit!’ to her son. The book is said to be one of Archie’s favorites.
However there’s a noble cause behind posting this video rather than just celebrating Archie Harrison’s birthday. It’s a part of a fundraising campaign by ‘Save the Children’ organization for the children and families suffering due to coronavirus.
In the caption of the video posted on Instagram, Save the Children expressed their gratitude towards Meghan Markle for her participation in this campaign of helping needy children and families. They have requested people to donate to the fund.
It’s unclear where today’s video was taken but seems it has been shot somewhere in United States, where the couple is currently staying.
Archie is seen throughout the video sitting on her mother’s lap. He was trying to turn over the pages of his favorite book ‘Duck! Rabbit!’.
The video was taken by Prince Harry. He is heard laughing couple of times watching son’s activities, while Meghan was reading out stories from the book.
At a moment, Archie started to wriggling around and takes another book kept aside. He dropped the book after a while. His mother takes it up and put beside her. Naughty Archie again took the book and dropped it, forcing father Harry to laugh.
Upon finishing reading the book, Meghan Markle gave Archie a hug saying ‘good job’ and Prince Happy shouted ‘Bravo’.
A year ago on May 6, 2019, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born in a London hospital. His first photograph taken in Windsor Castle along with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex was released few days later.
